On this bright and sunny first day of October in the year of our Lord, 2007, I hereby found this Blog of Sports BSery. The establishment of this Blog of Sports BSery has been effected by me, because I happen to love watching and BSing about sports and because I also enjoy loudly espousing my opinions on the great sporting issues of our age, and this blog should serve as a suiting vehicle for said espousement. To that end, future posts on this blog will likely fit into the following four categories:
1. I will post extensively concerning the goings on of the National Football League, with particular attention paid to the respective triumphs and travails of my beloved Dallas Cowboys and to the historically hapless, but recently improved Houston Texans, with an additional sharp focus on fantasy football related matters.
2. I will post extensively about the National Basketball Association, with particular attention paid to my beloved Dallas Mavericks, but also to the wretched Houston Rockets, and to basketball related topics of interest such as the basketball shoe wars and foreign giant big man draft prospects.
3. I will post extensively about the state and development of giant, towering NBA centers and about the continuing need for the NBA to find, evaluate, and develop more giant basketball centers around the world (names like Slavko, Hasheem, Pavel, and McIlvaine deserve to ring out in this NBA of ours).
4. I will post somewhat less frequently about NCAA football and basketball, and about just about anything darned else sports related that I feel the need to post about.
This is our mission, this is our blog, so now let the yappings of this space join the great chorus of white noise that is sports bloggery on this great electronic frontier internet thing!
